Cary/Young parentage

Looking for information on the parentage of Michael Cary/Carey (b. ca. 1737, d. 1 Oct 1814 in Newbury, Massachusetts, and his second wife, Abigail Young (b. ca. 1760, d. Jan 1827).  They were married 1 Aug 1785 in Newburyport, MA.  His first wife was Mary Cheney.  Abigail's parents may have been William Young and Ketury ?; if so, her birth was 18 Dec 1756 in Amesbury, MA.

I did not find the answer to your question, but maybe someone else at wikitree.com can. There is a lot of information on early Massachusetts and the New England Genealogical Society, NEGS, might be a good source for your quest. They charge for membership, so you might want to wait a bit to see if wikitree.com can come through with a good answer to your question.

You might want to do a Google search of Newbury, Essex, MA genealogy sites. Here's one I found, and there are others. http://magenweb.org/Essex/Newbury/

Thank you for the link to Newbury; I will give it a try.  I have been a member of NEHGS for several years and have had them conduct an extensiver search, but to no avail.  The suggested that I try the Old Norfolk County records, but so far I have come up empty.  If anyone has any further suggestions, I would be happy to hear them!
