Help finding German marriage records from 1950

I am looking for German marriage records from Wurzburg, Germany for Norman Tipton and Marie Rudnick, July 22 1950. Can anyone find these for me? They may be available at a Family History Center.

Due to the privacy law, German marriage records are open after 80 years. That means, that you will not find them online or publicly available.

The only way to get the certificate is to write to the Würzburg registry Office -  Standesamt . The address you may find on the Homepage of the Stadtverwaltung Würzburg. But you must be a descedant of that persons and describe that, otherwise you will get no Information.

I saw nothing relevant at Family Search.

I think your best option is contact the registrar, or Standesamt, in Würzberg. I did this for my parents who were married in 1948 in Nurnberg. The cost is nominal. The folks in the registrar’s office were extremely helpful.
