How to cite multiple people in one grave plot?

I am asking now because a situation I recently found out has started. Here is the story as told to me by my mother-in-law. Currently her mother is passed away, and has been cremated. Her father has bought two plots. The plots are to be given to my mother-in-law. When her father passes he is to be cremated, and added to her mother's ashes. Upon my mother-in law's death the urn with her mother and father in it is to be placed in a casket with my mother-in-law. The other side will be for her husband. How would that be cited or even engraved on a flat headstone as the cemetery doesn't allow for upright monuments.

Chryse, I reworded your question title so that others interested in this topic will more easily find it.
Jillian, thanks and I just added the word to in front of cite. Constructive criticism is the best.

I think if I were doing this - over one plot I would put one flat stone with father in law. (name, dates, husband of mother in law) Over the other plot I would put - Three flat stones. 1)Mother in law, dates, wife of Father in law. 2) Mother in Laws Mother, dates. "Mother of Mother in law" 3) Mother in Laws Father, dates, "Father of Father in law"

The father is making the decision on the headstone, I am just wondering for genealogy purposes. Imagine, Father of mother-in-law, mother of mother-in-law, an mother all in one casket. Good thing they would be cremated otherwise think of the cramming we would have to do let alone the exhuming of the casket each time, trying not to laugh.
Not sure how it will be done but a family friend of mine died not long ago and was cremated. She will be entombed with her mother when she dies.
It is rather unusual. Genealogically just say they're all buried together in plot x section 2 of whatever cemetery.
