George (Leonard) Carlson was an American artist and illustrator, born in 1887, dead 26-Sep-1962 according to Wikipedia. He has made comics where some characters utter Swedish phrases making it clear he is of Swedish descent. Is he born in Sweden himself? At Ancestry I find a tree where a George Leonard Carlson is born 13-Sep-1887 in New York with Swedish parents. Is that him?

I added her marriage record, census 1900 and census 1910, all from Manhattan. In 1920 and 1930 she lived in Connecticut, first with her son and then alone. Looked for a death record without finding any.
