Congratulations David with your well deserved wings, you are a magnificent member a big treasure, you always spoil members with your wonderful poem you gladly share, we are so proud to have you

Thank you for all your work

Thank you sweet Dieter for recognition a superstar you are simply the best

Oh, my!  Well, this is an honor!  Thank you all for making WikiTree a fun place to be a kid again!

Funny story:  I have been on WikiTree for coming up 2 years. My wife was getting upset at me for spending a lot of time documenting my family and finding their burial places and playing on the G2G.   Then I showed her how she was the granddaughter of Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland.  Everything changed!

Now, I have to revamp the office this coming week, so there is a larger desk for two people and her new computer should arrive today!  This pilot license just cost me about $1100.00 USA.

Happy wife, Happy life!surprise

Edit: Cindy's new computer came Friday (21) but the new desk is still in transit.  I will post pictures in an upcoming weekend chat.

Congrats on the Wings, I hope they fit. I was almost certain an acceptance poem would accompany this mile marker. A poet I am not so a limerick will have to do.

I once knew a man named Dave,

Oh, could he make words behave,

He said all the time,

With words that did rhyme,

You must edit, before you can save!

I was afraid I would get 23 down votes if I wrote my own poem!devil  And, by the way, that poem is pretty good!

Susan Laursen, you are such a diamond!  The sun does not shine brighter! Thank you and Dieter and, well everybody!
Thank you sweet David you are a gem yourselves
Down votes are the next best thing to an up vote for most people don't respond at all.

Well done, David.
Besides the cost of your pilot License, you now have to buy a plane before you can take off into the wild blue yonder.  laugh

Thank for David's recognition Dieter.

Mark and David are very distant cousinssurprise How does that work?

Very carefully. I think there's a fair amount of unknown confidence going on there in some of those lines. angel

I went to school with Tim Stegall in Abingdon Illinois, Class of 1970.  Wouldn't it be funny if that is some of your/our family!wink

That would be really great if the Tim Stegall you knew is related to me. It’s not a very common last name so you never know. That’s cool we are blood cousins.

If you want to check our relationship, then go to Maner-163 (he's connected quite densly in America), or Weirich-167. Most of my connections go through John Maner though.

John and David are 11th cousins three times removed

John Edgar Maner (1875-1953) and David Draper are both descendants of Elizabeth (Fryer) Fisher (1473-1535).

So you are, as I assumed a cousin of the husband of my 3rd cousin 5 times removed. Mathilde Seipp's father emigrated to Texas with his parents in 1848.
