I'm trying to find the father of William Marion George

Question

William Marion George was born about 1857 in Llano Texas.  He was married to Winnie Adeline Lee.  I have seen some reference to an Oscar being the father but I can't find proof.

The death record cited on the profile is for a James W. George, son of William and Winnie George, who died on Dec 13, 1921, in Luna, NM.

So it seems the death date cited on the profile is not for William, but for his son.

That is correct as that is the only source that I can find with him mentioned. Which is the issue, I havent been able to find any other information.
