Need correct location field for 1870's Poland location.

Could someone help me with the correct birth location and marriage location for Cerecki-2? The profile is VERY MUCH a work in progress but at least we have an 1874 birth record. Hopefully soon we'll have a marriage record from ca. 1896 for a location more than just "Poland".

Actually, we could also use help with the proper category for birth location, too, please?

Skye, thank you so much! Let me see if I got this right... the long location string you gave is the correct location specification for that time period? If so, I know that the individual whose relative this is would appreciate if it were typed out in the relevant language. Are you able to give that to me? Or you're welcome to just edit the profile directly if that's easier. I'm an English only speaker and he is native German with English as a second language so we would appreciate the help with that.

Is there already an existing category for this place?

Grabów, Łukówiec, ujezd lubartowski, gubernia lubelska, Kongresówka, Cesarstwo Rosyjskie

There is not an existing category, but if you notice I added this profile to https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Powiat_lubartowski%2C_wojew%C3%B3dztwo_lubelskie.

As I slowly work my way back through profiles, I'll create a village category for it.   If it is something you need immediately, just let me know and I'll create it right away for you. :)

It can be written out in English, Polish, German or which ever language suits the profile manager. :)

I wanted to edit this to add that the absolute correct place name would be in Russian/Cyrillic.  I would avoid using Cyrillic only because less than probably .05% of Wikitree users can read it.  Until we arrive at a place where we have people who read it fluently, can make corrections or have a moderator/team of people ... avoid it. It won't serve the profile well, because people won't know where the location is.
Thanks, Skye! I'm going to assume Danny (the PM) will be happy with the Polish as opposed to the Cyrillic. I notice the use of lower case letters in part of it. I assume that was deliberate. Why are those elements of the location lower case?

I was wondering where that category came from! Do the village whenever it is convenient for you and thank you so much for your help.
Yes the lower case letters are deliberate.  Just a part of Polish grammar (when there is an adjective/adjectival noun with the proper noun both words are lower case letters.)  If the proper noun stands alone it is capitalized.

I only know these things because I consult Polish friends, and they admit their grammar is difficult to understand. lol

If you see in a category, it may be labeled: "Powiat sokołówski", this is only because Wikitree automatically capitalizes the the first word for that category when it is created.

You're very welcome! :)
