Duplicate Profile created and Merge refused

Help!

My husband just unknown to me created a profile for himself, now he is duplicated, if I had known he was doing this I would have invited him to take over his profile.

Now the Merge says of the original profile and the new one says Permission Denied

He is Dods-239, and now also Dods-446

I think this probably because the original profile was living non-listed and I can't change it

Add him to the trusted list of the duplicate you created in the Privacy tab (using the email address he registered for WikiTree with), then set him as profile manager. He will be able to complete the merge himself.
