Time stamp one hour ahead

Question

Checking the time stamp to find one contribution showes me that all my edits are one hour ahead. Is this only for Switzerland or maybe continental Europe?

Have you checked your settings? You can find them in the drop-down menu My WikiTree, and scroll down to Settings.  You will find a section where you can change your time or offset to GMT.

Should the timestamp be adjusted in case of the change from Winter to Summer and reverse?

WikiTree operates on GMT.  So, if your clocks change from GMT to something else, or the offset changes, so should you.  Unfortunately, it's not automatic.  You have to go into Settings and do it yourself.

Klaas the problem is that not everywhere changes their time at the same time or even does change their time between Winter and Summer. So the offset time cannot be set automatically as there are too many possible settings. That is why it is a manual setting. And if you went somewhere else in a different time zone Wikitree would not know where you were in regards to timezones unless you did it manually.

I always just leave it. I never do the time changes for daylight savings. It gets fiddly doing them twice every year....
