In sourcing an unsourced profile, how much of the old profile should be kept?

I have been sourcing an extensive set of unsourced profiles.  Some of these profiles have private notes inserted by the original manager as well as comments on birth, death, occupation, and religion.  Some of these notes have errors, both factual and some typing.  My tendency is to leave them as originally provided and just give the correct sourcing.  I will also include other sources of information.

Is this sufficient?

The example profile is a GEDCOM created profile. I would recommend running AGC (in the WikiTree Browser Extension) on this (or manually cleaning the GEDCOM stuff) before adding the new sources.

I have added the FireFox extension.  The AGC button does nothing.

OK, I manually removed the GEDCOM stuff.  But the Note still lingers.

The trick with a GEDCOM imported profile is to use AGC first before you have made any changes. If you have the WikiTree Browser Extension installed and the AGC feature enabled (under editing), then the AGC button will appear if the profile looks like it was a GEDCOM import.

Thank you.  I have reformatted 24 GEDCOM profiles in this collection. Many with no dates and locations.  Some with no first name.
