Date of photo?

Question

Another user has added this photo to a profile but I feel like this photo was taken in the 20th century, the person of the profile died in 1891. Can someone confirm my thoughts?

Agree 40s.  At most early 50s, depending on where and when taken.  

Wearing nylon stockings, skirt at exactly below knee, curlers used for hair, Timex watch, plucked eyebrows (but not bright-red lipstick), v-necked cardigan with sleeves a little short, dark colors for clothing, but white blouse with top button undone, shoes pre-50s style.
