I want to know where John Wilson went after living in Winnipeg in 1931

I had such great luck finding out about Robert W Wilson so I thought I'd see what I can learn about his brother John Wilson. I think John was born ca 30 Oct 1891 in Lancaster, Lancashire, England. His father was Fred Wilson and his mother was Elizabeth Pinch. I know he was living in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1931. That census from Canada shows him living with his older brother Robert. At that time he had a wife Rose? I'm sure John served in WW1. I can find no record of his marriage or his death. After 1931 I wonder where he went . Did he have a family? Who was Rose? Not much but the folks at wiki are incredible so I'm hoping. Thank you.

1931 is the latest census released in Canada, so unless he moved to the States, that's all you will find for Census info.  That's probably all you will find for any Vital Stats info in Manitoba as well -- trying to protect the privacy of living people.

You could, though, try some other angles.  From the Census, you have a street address.  You could try Directories such as Hendersons to see if he stayed at that address for a while.  You could try newspapers to see if you can spot his marriage to Rose or the obit of either or them.  If you can tell what his career/occupation was from the 1931 Census, maybe you can develop some hypotheses as to his next career move, and test them out.

You mention the military -- did you try https://library-archives.canada.ca/eng?  They have a lot of military records.
