George could be related to my Thomas Chapman line of Warren County, Kentucky.  I also have a Ferguson line Paul and Mahala Gilstrap Ferguson of Butler County, KY.  Their daughter, Mary Adeline Ferguson, married William Young of Ohio County, Kentucky.

Jesse Chapman was son of Thomas Chapman, b. 28 May 1758, Maryland or Virginia, who married Rebecca Todd, b. 1759, VA.  They lived in Warren County, Kentucky.  Thomas died in 1814 and Rebecca in 1820.
