Philip, and to clarify for anybody with confusion about this feature, the Watchlist is technically and simply the list of every single profile for which you are a member of the Trusted List.
You find it in the pull down menu now as Find > Watched Profiles.
Or alternatively as My WikiTree > Watchlist.
It's the basic tool for managing any of ALL of your OWN profiles that you at one time or other either 1) imported 2) created 3) adopted 4) made a Trusted List request or 5) somebody else added you to the Trusted List without specific request.
I use mine constantly, because it allows different sort options. In particular, it can sort by the oldest edit, so it gives me a chance to focus on those profiles which have had no edit attention for many years.
It also has a tab to navigate to your list of Free-Space Profiles, for people who have created those extra bonus things for themselves.
If your work is concentrated in the project, and visiting your own profiles in particular is not a priority, then the project interfaces are probably more of a direct route for you to work on things daily as you do.
But it is always a very good idea for everybody to give at least a little bit of attention to their own Watchlist every so often, so that certain profiles in there do not grow stale from lack of needed attention. It becomes very easy to neglect such profiles that we otherwise do not come across.
So once in a while I change up my strategy for tackling my Watchlist. For instance, I recently sorted to find the oldest edited profiles that lacked any dates, and I then filled those in with good estimates.
