Need a way to search "Contributions".

I have about 5000 contributions, and I remember working on a profile a year or two ago, but that profile is not on my watchlist.  It would be nice if from the "Contributions" page there was a  search options where I could put in the last name and find it.
Thanks,
James

You can set your contribution page to show 500 contributions.  Then use your system's find feature.   (control f)
That's what I ended up doing.  I still think it would be nice if there were some sort of search feature on that page.

I agree, that would be a nice feature. Another idea, after you changed the setting to view 500, is to edit what is shown in your web browser address bar. You will see at the end of the address &l=500. Change it to &l=5000 and hit enter. This will show you all 5000 contributions on one page, making it easier to search.

Excellent suggestion!

If you knew before that this need more add personal categories [[Evans-9605 Todo Military Records]]

Do you  know something more about this profile test search using Google

site:wikitree.com/wiki "Profile manager: James Evans" "Tuscaloosa County, Alabama"

site:wikitree.com/wiki  "James Evans" Tuscaloosa County, Alabama

Good suggestion.  In this particular case I didn't mark the profile as needing more work.  I just seemed to remember working on a profile of "Mary Rushing".  I remembered seeing an entry on FindaGrave also.  I couldn't find the name on my watchlist, and couldn't find anything relevant by searching for Mary Rushing using any of the tools available to me.  I finally found the profile I was looking for, and it was for a "Mary Rushing Meigs".  Changing the length of the contributions page to 5000 made it very easy to find.  Adding a search feature of a filter feature to the contributions page would make this kind of thing easier.
Love this work-around, [[Pierpont-94 |Rick Pierpont]]. Thank you so much!
