Should we extend the G2G contributor titles?

Question

G2Gers:

You may have noticed a little tag next to user names here that either says "newbie" or "contributor".

We should have more than two levels if we're going to use these titles.

Any suggestions or ideas for how to name them? Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc? G2G1, G2G2, G2G3, etc?

As of today we implemented a new title system.

You start as a Rookie. Then you're Crew. From there the sky is the limit.

Let me know if you hate it. :-)

As they all have 'points' levels, not sure that it matters to have other categories!

That's right, Chris. It's totally cosmetic.

What's more, if this isn't clear: The titles are just based on points. You reach a certain number of points, you get a certain title. So there is no functional significance to this at all.

Definitely isn't a priority, but if anyone has thoughts or opinions on this, post 'em.

I was always curious about that... I figured someone would hit a new level, but never saw it... I like the levels... you know me... I dont like the g2g1-2-3 though, prefer the Newbie, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or something... we could do something else thats more WikiTree referenced, like Sapling, or something... just as long as it doesn't get cheesy... cant think of a non-cheesy was for that right now but Im sure someone can!
