I may have made several mistakes in creating and populating categories for the following:

References including:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord_of_Parliament
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacobite_Peerage#Lords_of_Parliament_in_the_peerage_of_Scotland
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peerage_of_scotland#Lords_of_Parliament_and_Ladies_in_the_Peerage_of_Scotland
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Lordships_of_Parliament

Would suggest leaving a note here as to working on problem before continuing so as not to be working on it as someone else may be.  Thanks for any assistance or direction.  Mike

Mike, I'm not questioning the value of the project, nor, necessarily, its accuracy.

But I do get worried when references are solely to Wikipedia. On looking at those pages, I can see no sources quoted for the information given. It may well be accurate, but how do we differentiate between accurate and inaccurate Wikipedia pages that give no sources?

I'm thinking of combining:

into Lords of Parliament in the Peerage of Scotland

The following to remain separate:

Lords in the Peerage of Scotland

Really not sure, could use an expert on this field.  Thanks again. Mike

Ah, yes, UI see what you mean. Unfortunately I'm not an expert. There mist be Scittish websites that could help.

A Lord of Parliament was the lowest rank of nobility automatically entitled to attend sessions of the pre-Union Parliament of Scotland. Post-Union, it is a member of the lowest rank of the Peerage of Scotland, ranking below a viscount. A Lord of Parliament is said to hold a Lordship of Parliament

You may alreadt know this and then this site may help.
