Seeking info on Reverend. E.W. Archer, Fairmont Ohio.

I was cleaning out some old books that belonged to my family, I came across a small Book of Daily Prayers,  "Daily Help in the Way of Holiness." Published in 1873.

Inside the book is written.

"E.W. Archer.  Fairmont, Ohio"

Also it is stamped with the words.  "Rev E.W. Archer."

I'm very certain he directly related to me and I have no idea how this book came into my families possession.

What I'd like to do is return the book to a member of his family.  Be it a direct descendant or other close relative.

Perhaps someone can help me at the very least find his first name.    All I know are his initials, he lived in Fairmont, Ohio and he was a reverend.

If anyone here is related to him, please contact me and I'll be happy to send this book to you.   I'd like to see it have a good home.

Thanks

Here's an article that mentions a Rev. E. W. Archer giving the opening prayer at a meeting of the Dorcas society in May 1887.

Here's another article from Oct 1877 entitled "The Murphy Movement". The last bit reads "... ... the Cincinnati central Christian Temperance Union under whose auspices  this meeting was held, went into  executive session and elected Rev. E. W. Archer as president  to fill the unexpired term made vacant by the resignation of Dr. John Truman ... ... ... "

This article describes "The Murphy Movement": http://ozarks-history.blogspot.com/2009/08/murphy-movement.html

Researching a bit further, a Rev. E. W. Archer appears in Eagle Grove, Iowa as he is mentioned in some Iowa newspapers in connection with some preaching and also with active ties related to the Knights of Pythias.

My apologies for being so late, but thank you very much for that information.  I haven't had time to follow up on it, but it looks quite promising.

thank you very much.
