Yes My set came from Andrews, N.C or Canada, N.C or Transylvania County, N.C I know North Carolina to Piedmont S.C to A street called Park Row , Piedmont Anderson County, South Carolina he is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Piedmont Greenville County, S.C his wife is Minnie Cope she is buried at Rose Hill Cemetery Piedmont, Greenville County, S.C also he did have two more sibling's that married In to the Cope family I have seen Cope spelled Cape so this could be something to look in to on his death certificate if I'm not mistaken I remember seeing J. Van Parker as the father he did marriage to a Mathis / Matthews I have seen this name spelled both ways now records show J Van Parker married 2nd time to Rachel Scruggs J Van Parker / Javan or Javon, my D Monroe Parker had 12 children with wife Minnie Cope this is true they owned Land at the same place Lake Toxaway is I don't know if this was a Lake then, I do know D Monroe Parker and Minnie Cope had Ida Parker Spearman 1904 1978 my Grandmother and she had 11 brothers and sisters , my family did come from North Carolina along with my Hooper family both my Grandmother's come from North Carolina, hope this helps all this information that I got on here is not a guess it is true , Thanks for helping me.
