Need information on Anna and Peter Schumacher from Germany

Question

I am trying to find information on Peter Schumacher and his wife, Anna Schumacher. She came to the United States from Germany in the early 1800s with 5 childrens. Her husband, Peter, did not come. Their son, Herman, b. 1870, was my great grandfather. He married Anna Stuck. That's all I can find about their ancestory.

Anna Stuck married Herman Schumacher on 13 Dec 1892 in Rock Island, Illinois. There were many others with same names and different locations.

Interesting; my ggf Anton SCHUMACHER came with his mother and sister in 1848 (from Essen area to Chicago) but no father. I'm thinking he was killed in the 48-49 rebellion.

Thank you but that is the wrong Peter Schumacher. The one I'm looking for married Anna  and had 5 kids ... Elizabeth, Tina, Anna, Herman, and Henry. Herman was my  great grandfather.

Yes, I know about Anna Stuck and Herman Schumacher from their marriage onward. I even remember them from when I was a little girl in Rock Island and eating meals in the big dining room with the family.  However, what I don't know is anything about their parents, except the names (Anna and Peter) and tthat he mother, Anna, came from Germany with the 5 children.
