What an I doing wrong with the coding in this bio?

The final para in the bio appears as "David died on 20 April 1868 as a result of a fall of stones from the roof of a mine at Easter Glentore. His death was described as immediate or instantaneous.[3] When David died, his wife Ann was left to bring up their six remaining children on her own at the age of 45."

However when you go to the edit screen, there's another sentence after reference 3 which isn't appearing - what have I done wrong??

You will have to change the privacy to Open so that we can see the coding. Public doesn't allow us to Edit.
Check to see if you have all your </ref> tags. There should be a </ref> after every <ref>. If it is not there, it sometimes prevents text from showing up.

From looking at the change history, I think the problem is in the bit of code that reads <ref name="death certificate" /ref>

Assuming that ref name "death certificate" has been properly defined earlier in the profile (it looks like it's properly defined), change that to <ref name="death certificate" />.

That's it Ellen, thanks very much!  I was going cross-eyed trying to find the mistake :-)
