Someone actually approves it. As far as I know one person works on this so it can take a little time. If you are planning on staying around, go to your Nav Home Page. You can find that under the my wikitree link in the top right of this page. There will be an invitation to volunteer and a request to sign the Honor Code. Do those things and you will be confirmed as a member.
