seeking parents of Lonnie M. Sexton Apr/24/1880 Independence VA.

Question

I am looking for parents of Lonnie Martin Sexton 4/24/1880,(died 1954 in Walla Walla WA)born in Independence,Grayson County, Virginia. He appears in 1910 Census in Lewis Co. WA.(1920,1930 1940 Census in OR)  He served in the Spainsh/American War. He married several times, first in Indpendence VA. to a Bettie Fine, next in North Carolina to Maude Edwards.1898,1899. In these applications for marriage he states mother is Ann Sexton. On his death certificate it says the father is Steven Sexton. Thank you for anything at all. Joyce

On Lonnie's marriage cert to Fannie, his father is listed as John Sexton and his mother is listed as Ana Sioux.

I saw on Lonnie's census it listed parents birthplace as, father New York/mother Virginia.  Nothing fit.  Did find this marriage record.

This looks like him in the 1900 census.  There are several Sexton families on this sheet. I saw a Stephen on the page before the one he is on.

I was hoping to find a Lorna but I didn't.  Probably just adding to your brick wall but I suspect this is a sister
