Hi Henry,

I have one female van Staden in my family line. It depends on how much effort you are willing to commit to. Where the records are not indexed, you will have to browse the registers. I recorded and uploaded all the baptisms for those in the Northern Cape that I could find in order to get a proper family line. So the basic work for that part of the tree is done. Unfortunately the Free State records did not get my attention. Good luck :)

Many thanks. Would that (info) be the father of Johannes Jurgens below. The dates I have for him is: born on 12.08.1898 and died 21.05.1975. It sounds if Susanna Dorothea could be his (Johannes Jurgen's) sister.
