Joseph and James Newton "Newt" Turley are probably brothers in Ozark County, MO mid 1800's.  Turley families had several people named the same in the same generation.  Several brothers appear to have James, Joseph, McDonald or McDaniel.  A federal census shows parents were from Indiana.  Another note:  on marriage record from Douglas Co., MO Seth Webster is a guardian to McDaniel Turley when he is married.
