It looks like Jacob and his family settled in Allegheny, Pennsylvania area.  There is a very good chance that he died in the area.

Jacob Geissinger and Sarah A. Streets were married in 1841. Sarah A. Streets[1–3,5] was born about 1815 in , , Pennsylvania, United States of America.[1–2,5, 3, 1, 4] She appeared in the census on 10 Jun 1880 in Allegheny, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States of America.[5]

I am only going to comment since I don't have an answer for you, but while I was trying to check, I ran into numerous Geissingers at Findagrave.  This one had such a fascinating story, Ithought I'd link it here.
