Thanks so much for finding this article; I agree with you that it's a really good one for becoming better genealogists, and also for doing better WikiTree profiles!  I especially love the tips about doing your best not to make assumptions when working on a profile for a person, and keeping an open mind while staying with research for that person and staying focused while doing as much research as possible for that one person.

Thanks so much Vic - very good tips - but I admit that I do tend to jump around and then go back through - usually working on four people on different branches any given day no matter how I try to stay on one, I loop through and back track but I am easily distracted and go off in another direction - good thing I write it all down so I can find my way back - going to try some of those out!

A nice list. Everyone should review what they do and how they do it from time to time. All points are good but I think #4 is very important and I see so much of that.
