Linking to list of profiles using stickers

Can someone tell me why when I add this to two different pages I get two different results?

Profiles using Indigenous_Australians sticker

On the Sticker page it links Ok and lists profiles and pages with the sticker

* https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:Indigenous_Australians_Sticker

But on a different page no links appear? Scroll down to last line of this page.

* https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Australia_Project_Maintenance

I think it has something to do with FULLPAGENAMEE, but I've tried changing it but it doesn't seem to work.  Any help appreciated.

Your template text should be replaced with the shortened (internal link) URL of the target page, Veronica.

In the link Profiles using Indigenous_Australians sticker, replace FULLPAGENAMEE with Space:Australia_Project_Maintenance.

Your link to your free-space should then be Profiles using Indigenous_Australians sticker.

The resultant page will not have any linked profiles unless you have linked your free-space to other pages. You can link to your free-space by adding Space:Australia_Project_Maintenance to relevant profiles.

Post back if you have problems with this process!

edit: The 2 links at the bottom of your free-space are basically linking to the same page, so you can just delete the second link.

If you are wanting to link to https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Template:Indigenous_Australians_Sticker&redirect=no, then replace the template text in Profiles using Indigenous_Australians sticker with Template:Indigenous_Australians_Sticker. You may also want to change the displayed text to differentiate between the 2 links.

Again, post back if you need more help!

Thanks for trying to help with this.

The 2 links at the bottom were just me trying to test this out.  I tried what you suggested but I get the error 'The requested page title was invalid, empty, or an incorrectly linked inter-language or inter-wiki title. It may contain one or more characters which cannot be used in titles.'

I think from what you are saying this is because i haven't added Space:Australia_Project_Maintenance  to any profiles.

I mustn't be explaining this correctly.

I am trying to recreate on the 'Australia Project Maintenance' page an exact copy of what is shown from the 'Indigenous Australians Sticker' page, what they get when they click on the link 'Profiles Using Indigenous Australians Sticker' shown at the bottom of this page https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Template:Indigenous_Australians_Sticker&redirect=no,

If you look at the Australia, Project maintenance page, further up - I have done this for each of our project templates but it just doesn't seem to want to work in the same way for stickers?  https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Template:Indigenous_Australians_Sticker&redirect=no,

For the free space page - assuming you want the link to go directly to the section about stickers - you need to use the target link - not the page link -

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Australia_Project_Maintenance#Project_Stickers

Try putting that into your link (template?) and see if that works better for you.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't seem to be able to get that to work.  When you click on the link on the sticker page it gives a list of people and profiles that have that sticker.

I am trying to put all the Australian ones on the Australia Project Maintenance page so they are all in one place.

All the 'Project boxes' (listed above on the page) seemed to work by just using the same code and it linked to the same list on both pages.

I'm thinking this needs to be change but I can't work out what should be there? FULLPAGENAMEE

The error seems to suggest - No pages link to Space:Australia Project Maintenance.

Should be FULLPAGENAME without the extra E.  Use the extra E inside [ ] but not inside .

However, in this case it shouldn't make any difference, as there are no awkward characters in the pagename.

I've just made a link from my profile to the space page and it shows up in the list.  I'll take it out later.

It'll only find wikilinks, e.g. Space:Australia Project Maintenance.

If you have external-type links like it won't find them.

Also, the FULLPAGENAME construct doesn't work in preview.

Thanks for trying to help with this.  I am not trying to monitor who is linked to the Australia, Maintenance category page, but who is linked to the 'Indigenous Australian Stickers' page - ie they have Indigenous Australians Sticker on their profile.

I mustn't be explaining this correctly.

Thanks again for trying to help

I haven't seen this template before, RJ; I wasn't sure if it was a real template.

Do you know the link for its usage page?

edit: I am asking about this template:

FULLPAGENAME

Is it an actual template used by WikiTree?

Thanks Lindy - you have solved my problem!

I needed either -

Profiles using Indigenous_Australians sticker (using full URL) or

*Profiles using Indigenous_Australians sticker (internal link version)
