first name for a stillborn child

Question

I'm sure the answer is somewhere in the help pages but I can't find it.

Should I give a stillborn child the first name 'Unknown' or 'Anonymous'? The record reads 'n.n.' which could possibly a third option but that is an interpretation by the archive web site. The deed gives no name whatsoever

N.N. could seem to indicate "no name".

I've only one stillborn (so far) in my direct line and she wasn't even registered.  All we have for her is the newspaper announcement that she was stillborn .. so that's her "name".

Mostly for babies that don't have names it's unknown, unnamed, or similar.  Never "anonymous".

Thanks for replying so quickly. You must just have missed the extension I added to my question. I do have an official deed which only speaks of "a child born lifeless". The "n.n." only comes from the web site

If an infant died before he or she could be named use what is on their death record according to their conventions, otherwise use Unnamed Infant. Do not use Infant Boy, Baby Girl, etc. There is a gender field for this.

On the edit page there is a question mark in a green dot at the right of the Proper First Name item that , when clicked, takes you to this help page, saying:
