I asked the last question incorrectly. I need proof that Absolom Comer is Henry Campbell Comer's father.

Question

Our Comer branch can go back to Henry Campbell Comer but no further.  I have gotten  a lot off Ancestry, but I notice what I have does not agree with what is on this site.  I have that Henry Campbell Comer,s father was Absolom , His father was Thomas, and his father was John C. Comer.  I have found a lot of stuff, but little real documentation.

Douglas:        I will start with Luther Comer,the son of Henry C. Comer and

Martha Godsey. Luther born April 20 1849,died Feb 22 1924.On his death

certificate shows father born Virginia,mother North Carolina.Henry C. Comer

and Marthe Godsey married Feb 26 1842.Rockingham,North Carolina.North

carolina  marriage index 1741-2004.Henry and Martha also listed 1850-1860-

1870-1900 census,you can pick up there children there.Will send Henry C. Comer
