I found detailed information on descents of Maria de la Vega Marquez is the author reliable ?

The work of LaDeane Miller is mostly unsourced and he is not considered a reliable author for Genealogy. I know of no North American Lineage Society that accepts his research as a source or proof of anything. If you can only find what you are looking for in a  LaDeane Miller genealogical book, there is a reason for that. Much of his work is just Fantasy Genealogy!

DO NOT USE THIS FOR GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH! There are 50 different genealogical compilations by this author in the collections of the Denver Public Library. The five that I examined have no sources. Also, I found several errors in one compilation (Descendants of Juan de Portugal). The fact that these compilations are unsourced, combined with the errors found, makes these compilations pretty near worthless. I would warn anyone against using any of the genealogical documents from this author for the purpose of researching/sourcing/posting/compiling family trees.

In addition, we have some wonderful and very comprehensive genealogies of original New Mexican families compiled by LaDeane Miller. Although the sources of these family trees are not confirmed, they could be a good starting point for a researcher.
