William E. Mixer son of Ezra Otis Mixer & Catherine L. Macomber. Married Charlotte M. Clark abt. 1873 and Caroline Barrett (her 2nd marriage married September 1, 1911 in St. Lawrence, New York ). We need help updating his profile with sources and records. An obituary would be great!

Andrew, I added the source citations, but further searching did not add anything that wasn't covered on the profile. Sorry.

Thanks Pip

I’m gleaning through it now. The marriage record to Caroline Barrett Allen shows his occupation as a Painter and Paper Hanger and Caroline was a dressmaker same as her sister Josephine. It appears the girls learned Dressmaking! The place of his birth on marriage record is Norwich Connecticut. This guy moved a lot even helping one of the sisters (Josephine) in 1910 Census as a boarder. He worked on the farm at age 17 in 1870 Census. He also worked as a farmer in the 1880 and 1900 census. I added the 1910 census showing him as a border working as a laborer and doing Odd Jobs at Caroline’s sisters Josephine’s home. I’m wondering if he died in Connecticut or New York. He is buried in Connecticut. He obviously was living after 1911
