Why Does it show that Macgregor-407 is my 28th grandfather,but his father MagGregor-949 is not related related to me?

It shows that MacGregor-407 is the father, of MacGregor-949, but when I checked relationship to me,MacGregor-407 is my 28th Grandfather,but His father MacGregor-949 is not related o me.
