Looking for information on Robert Burdick of Rhode island

Hi

I am looking for information of Robert Burdick of Rhode Island I believe he may have been born in England in 1630 and married Ruth Hubbard on 2 November 1655 in Newport Rhode Island , I've never been able to find a definitive birth date for Robert

Any help would be truly appreciated

Ashley, I do not immediately see any scholarly research which suggests his parentage or date of birth. I will do some additional looking on this, however, they may simply be unknown. ~ T Stanton, Rhode Island Coordinator.

I have removed the very confusing mention of his son Robert's wife Dorcas from the Disputed Parents section of the profile as it only creates additional confusion.

The Burdick family website cited on the profile appears to be defunct. If anyone has a new location or additional information, please let us know.

Yes I did hear hear from my cousin Howard who runs the burdick family geaneology site that there may have been variations of the name and I know there was burdett's in England since William the conqueror but I have no idea how to link Robert to them
