Biography

Rice was born in Connecticut in about 1792.^[1][2][3][4] He was the son of Aaron Baldwin and Experience Hart.^[3][4]

Rice came to Elba, New York in about 1825.^[3]

In 1822, Rice married Phebe McCrillus. Rice and Phebe had the following children:^[3][4]

6. Flavius Josephus
7. Aaron McCrillus
8. Eleanor Henrietta
9. Lucy Joanna

After Phebe's death, Rice married Lucy Wheelock of Batavia. Rice and Lucy had the following children:^[3]

6. Fredus W.
7. Belle

Rice passed away in 1864 and is buried in Cary Cemetery in Oakfield, New York.^[5][6][7]
