Biography

Research Notes

Her first name is unusual and shared by the mother of Robert Malet who had been a major baron in the same area. Therefore Katharine Keats-Rohan has proposed that her mother Judith might have been a sister or daughter Robert Malet.

The name of her apparent mother is transcribed as Iuvita (Douglas, the charter editor), and Jenita (according to Complete Peerage). She is mentioned in a charter by Hamo Pecche dated 1121-1148, who names his mother and grandmother.[1][2]

There are two versions of Isilia (de Bourges) de Peche, both born in Suffolk, England in 1170, and both married to http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/P%C3%AAche-34 Guillaume (Pêche) de Pêche (1067 - 1121).

They have different death dates (1100, 1121), and different children.

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/De_Bourges-42 is not Project Protected, and has the “de” which is inconsistent with pre-1500 naming standards
