Brother of Prudence Davis Wrenn, Samuel Davis, names Nicholas Bourden (Bowden) as his brother-in-law in his will date 17 Nov 1738 establishing earliest record of marriage of Prudence and Nicholas. However since their first child was born in 1737, the date of this marriage is probably closer to 1736.[1]
