Note
Note: The Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church (Formerly St. Peter's) - Frederick Co., MD parish register 1767-1889 shows the following.
Maria Catharina Herter, B. 29 May 1771; Bapt. 29 July 1771; parents Georg. & Eva; sponsors Andreas Meixel and Catharina.
I am not sure what to make of this. Any further records of Catharina Harter are consistent with a 1767 birth, not as above. I see two possibilities. 1) The original recording was misinterpreted for some reason and the parents were Andreas and Catharina Meixel with Georg and Eva sponsors of the baptism. (possible, but does not seem probable). 2) one of the older children had an out of wedlock child and the parents claimed the child was theirs to save face. (possible, but probable?) This type of thing did apparently happen among early families. If this happened it would have most likely have been Christian, who would have been almost 17 at the time. Problem: there seems to be no further record of a Catharina Harter born in 1771.
Eva has been thought the daughter of Andraes Meixel. However, it is now known that Eva Meixel was married Jonas Adam 26 September 1748, Lebanon Co, PA.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Eva by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Eva:
