Biography

Daniel Cheatham was born in 1769 in Chesterfield County, Colony of Virginia, son of Daniel Cheatham (~1739–1815) and Agnes Robertson (~1750–~1815).

Daniel lived in Mecklenburg, Virginia in 1782. ^[1]

Daniel (20) married Rebecca Cooper (17) (born in 1772 in Mecklenburg, Virginia Colony; daughter of Francis Cooper and Elizabeth (Arnold) Cooper) on June 21, 1790 in Mecklenbug, Virginia, USA. ^[2] Their children were:

Leonard Cheatham (1792–1855)
William Cheatham (1796–>1850)
Henry Cheatham (~1800–~1889)
Obediah Cheatham (1803–1889)
Elizabeth Cheatham (~1807–1845)

Daniel (40) married Anne Hardin (16) (born about 1793 in Washington, Kentucky; daughter of Moses Harding and Mary Anglina (Ball) Hardin) on September 10, 1810 in Washington, Kentucky. ^[3] Their children were:

Daniel was a Corporol in Cocke's Detachment, Virginia Militia in the war of 1812. ^[4]

Daniel died in 1848 in Washington County, Kentucky, United States, aged 78.
