Johann Delzer was a Black Sea German.

Birth

Johann was born on February 3, 1833 in the village of Johannestal in the Beresan district of the Odessa area and Black Sea region of South Russia to Michael Delzer and Dorothea (Gröler) Delzer. He was the seventh of their 9 children. Johann was baptized on February 12, 1833.^[1]

On September 20, 1853, at the age of 20, Johann married Catherina Auch (1836-unknown) in Johannestal.^[2]
