Biography
When Franklin Alvin Duckworth was born on July 9, 1898,[1] in Laurens, South Carolina,[2] his father, William, was 30 and his mother, Jessie, was 17. He married Aline Janette Sprouse in 1919. They had at least two children:
Palmer Alton (1921–1978)
Frances Evelyn (1922–1986)
He died on July 9, 1962, in Laurens, South Carolina[3] at the age of 64, and was buried in Gray Court, South Carolina.[4]
