Service during the American Revolution sourced from the South Carolina Archives, Accts Aud #2155, Roll #39; Pension *S32230 of son Wm Eddins. Service for Virginia as a private with Captain Wm Freeman. Benjamin was held as a prisoner. His spouse: Judith Norris. Children in DAR Patriot file: Joseph who m. Eliz Walker; John who m. Mary Lipscomb; William who m. Eliz Landrum; Washington who m. Mary Tillman. [3]
