Biography

George was born on 8 January 1860 in Montrose, , Prince Edward Island, Canada. He was the son of Henry Sinclair Gordon and Sophia (Owen) Gordon.[1]

George married Sophia Owen on 23 February 1859. The couple had 8 children: George Owen Gordon, Margaret (Maggie) Ellen Gordon, Robert Hudson Gordon, John Simpson Gordon, Allen Fraser Gordon, Alfred Elwood Gordon, Bertha Sophia Gordon and Minnie Ramsay Gordon.[1][2]

George was buried on 31 August 1916 in Hillcrest United Cemetery, Alberton, , Prince Edward Island, Canada.
