Hello Monroe County researchers,

I am looking for further info. on the George Hannah family listed in the

1870 census in Monroe County. George is age 56, born OH. In the household

are Ellen, age 22, William age 20, Milton age 17 and Marshall age 12. Ellen,

William and Milton are born in Ohio. Marshall is born in Iowa.

My particular questions are;

1. Are these young people all children of George?

2. Who was the mother and where is she in 1870?

3. There is an 1853 land record of George Hannah, and his wife, Dorinda,

selling land to Joseph Robinson in Monroe County. Is this the same George of

the 1870 census?

4. A Dorinda Ellen Hannah married an Edmund Warren 1 Sep 1872 in Monroe

County. Is this the 22 year old Ellen in the George Hannah household in

1870.

5. A George Hannah married a Dorinda Cole in 1836 in Marion County, Ohio. Is

this the same George of the 1870 census, and the same George and Dorinda in
