Captain John Hardee Sr. served with Pitt County Regiment, North Carolina Militia during the American Revolution.
John Hardee Sr. is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A050469.
When John Hardee was born on November 4, 1742, in Pitt, North Carolina, his father, John, was 35 and his mother, Susannah, was 41. He had three sons and two daughters with Caroline T Aldrich between 1761 and 1775. He died on April 3, 1809, in Camden, Georgia, at the age of 66.
