Biography
In 2006 made an inquiry about this name which came up with "not a Danish name as such. It comes from north & northwest Germany, Holland (the Netherlands) and then Danish ruled duchies of Schleswig Holstein." There were only 118 names with the surname of Harmsen in Denmark according to the Statistics Denmark.
Death estimated - know I saw a book once with further information & write up with one Book by Pearson, Jonathan (1872). Contributions for the genealogies of the first settlers of the ancient county of Albany, from 1630 to 1800. Note this is not the book I originally saw. It told a bit more than just the dates. Did note three other Harmsen's on the site, but no idea if they are related to this woman or not?
