Anna was born in Silesia and aged 8 when she immigrated to Australia with her father and his second wife in 1845 on the Heerjeebhoy Rustomjee Patel.[1] (To be confirmed if this was Anna's mother or step-mother)
Anna was confirmed in Langmeil Lutheran Church on 16 July 1850.[2] She married Carl Wilhelm Klingner at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Light Pass on 19 April 1856.[3] The couple had ten children, most born at Stockwell:[4]
Anna died at Stonefield on 30 November 1920[5] and is buried at Stonefield St Stephen's Lutheran Cemetery.[6]
