Biography

Andrew was born in October 1867. He is the son of Robert Nicol and Helen Granger.

In 1871, at age three, Andrew is living in Temples Land, Goodsburn, Strathaven, with his parents Robert age 30, Helen age 29, and with his sister Helen age 11 months.

In 1881, at age 13, Andrew is living in Glasgow Road New known as Barn Street Grangers Land, with his parents Robert age 40, Helen age 39, and with his siblings Helen age 10, Bella age 5 and Joseph age 2.

In 1891, at age 23, Andrew is living in Thomson Street, Strathaven, with his parents Robert age 50, Helen age 48, and with his brother Joseph B age 12. Andrew is a Cabinetmaker.

In 1900, Andrew married Helen Haddow Fleming (Nellie), at Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.

In 1901, at age 32, Andrew is living in Montgomery Street, Milnholm, Larkhall, Lanarkshire, with his wife Nellie age 31. He is still a cabinetmaker.

Andrew, a retired farmer, passed away in 1949, at the age of 81, at 35 Charlotte Street, Ayrshire.

Andrew also has a son Robert, who was the informant when he died.
