Miss Doreen O'Brien, the youngest daughter of Lord Inchiquin, whose recent marriage to Captain Richard Coke attracted a good deal of attention in smart society at home, is possessed of a small but interesting relative in this State. The young Victorian whose birthplace is Kew, is the first-born of Mr. Edward Donough O'Brien, who is at present leading a mining expedition in the Congo. His wife, the daughter of Mr. T. Deravin, of "Chateau Dore," near Bendigo, is at present on a visit to her relatives, in Victoria. Her little son can claim many interesting relatives and connections, among them being Chevalier Marconi, of wireless telegraphy fame, who is married to another Miss O'Brien, an elder sister of Miss Doreen.
