According to Baines (n.d.), Margaret was the daughter of Gilbert de Culcheth; and the wife of William de Radcliffe[1] ... who was apparently seized of Culceth in her own right in 20 Edw I, c. 1292/3.[2] ... But Baines (n.d.), may have confused her with the wife of Richard Culceth (nee FitzHugh de Hindley). The Peasfalong estate descended from Beatrix Culceth & Adam FitzHugh de Hindley, while the Culceth property went to Margaret Culceth & Richard FitzHugh de Hindley.
